Summary

Paul is a 60-year-old neurosurgeon. Married to Lucie, he has never known a day's unhappiness. But, one day, bouquets of roses begin to arrive from an anonymous sender at their home. Paul discovers that he has a secret admirer, a young woman named Lou who is forty years his junior. As Paul tries to comprehend Lou's interest in him his relationship with his wife takes a turn for the worse, causing both to reflect on what they have made of their lives
