The photos in the book are from the Calgary Stampede’s extensive collection of archives that date back to the first Stampede in 1912. Authored by Dave Kelly, long-time morning television host and award-winning actor and illustrated by Mandy Stobo, creator of The Bad Portrait Project, C is for Calgary is sure to be a family favourite. C is for Calgary was produced by Chevron Canada Resources as part of the company’s continuing support of Calgary Reads and their goal of promoting the importance of early literacy. -from website
