Summary
French animator Michel Ocelot teams up with Bénédicte Galup for this follow-up to KIRIKOU AND THE SORCERESS (1998). The story is split into four parts and follows the heroic Kirikou, who tries to protect his small African village from the destructive impulses of the Sorceress. Ocelot and Galup draw on the music of Youssou N'Dour, and many other African musicians, to provide the soundtrack to this entertaining tale. The story itself is partly based on myths and legends from African folklore and is beautifully brought to life through the colorful animation of the joint directing team
