Summary
Crystal Malloy owns the beauty salon in Mystic Creek, Oregon. It took years of work to stand on her own after a difficult upbringing and to turn her fledgling enterprise into a successful business. There's never been much time for romance, but when a handsome, friendly man stops in at her salon--he's traveling through town on business--she's immediately taken with him. Their friendship quickly blossoms into romance, and the two of them manage to meet up for dates when his work brings him to town. He's honest with her from the start that as a recent widower with young children; there's no real prospect of a long-term relationship between them. Crystal never thought she would marry, so she's fine keeping things light until the day she realizes that she's fallen in love. She can no longer imagine a future without him. Now she'll have to choose between following her heart or staying in her beloved Mystic Creek with the salon customers who have become like family to her. 2018
