Summary
Eric Camden is a reverend and the father of numerous children who faces the challenges of raising a family during permissive times. Both he and wife Annie deal with the problems of a large family while keeping their romance alive. It's a season of shocks and surprises as Eric has double bypass surgery, then decides he doesn't want to be a minister anymore. Plus, Robbie is surprisingly single, Simon gets a steady girlfriend, and even little Ruthie winds up with a young man in her life. Yet it's no surprise when daughter Lucy finally gets a proposal from her boyfirend Kevin, and she gets married in the church with the entire family in attendance
