To address this problem Songs for Beginning Bass Voice lists carefully selected songs including annotations, to suit the developing voice of a bass singer. Some songs, given as illustrations or examples of what is appropriate, are presented in their entirety. Each of these has its own background material, complete with interesting biographical information on the composer and tips on interpretation. If the song was originally written in a foreign language, the English translation is given as well
